Trump UFO Files: President Orders Release of Government Records

President Donald Trump said he would direct federal agencies to begin releasing long-awaited Trump UFO files, citing strong public interest in aliens and unidentified flying objects.

In a social media post, Trump announced he would instruct Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth and other agencies to declassify information, calling the matter “extremely interesting and important.” The move signals a renewed push for transparency around government records linked to UFO investigations.

Trump also criticized former President Barack Obama, accusing him — without evidence — of improperly discussing classified information related to aliens. Obama has repeatedly stated he saw no proof of extraterrestrial contact during his presidency.

The Pentagon has previously investigated UFO sightings. A 2024 report concluded there was no evidence of extraterrestrial technology, with most incidents linked to misidentified objects or natural phenomena.

If implemented, the release of the Trump UFO files could reignite public debate over government transparency and the long-standing mystery surrounding UFO investigations.
