ISLAMABAD Feb 15: The Punjab Home Department has sought the complete medical record of Imran Khan regarding his treatment at Adiala Jail.
According to sources, jail authorities have been directed to submit a comprehensive report of the former prime minister’s medical condition, including a detailed chart of his vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, body temperature, and blood sugar levels.
The department has also requested consultants’ reports specifying the dates of medical examinations and the names of the medical staff who conducted check-ups inside the jail.
Jail officials stated that the on-duty doctor records Imran Khan’s vital signs three times daily to monitor his health.
Meanwhile, the government has constituted a two-member panel of ophthalmology specialists from Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital for his eye examination and treatment. The panel comprises Dr. Nadeem Qureshi and Dr. Amjad, who are regarded as among the country’s leading eye specialists.
Sources added that further decisions regarding his medical care will be made in light of the submitted reports.
