Mazaj News (Web Desk) PTI leaders remained determined to hold a public rally at Mazar-i-Quaid in Karachi on Sunday, following allegations that Sindh police raided Bagh-i-Jinnah — the originally planned venue — on Saturday night and used force against party workers.
The rally is part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s three-day visit to Sindh, during which he is spearheading PTI’s street mobilisation campaign.
Afridi’s visit began with his arrival in Karachi on Friday afternoon, followed by a trip to Hyderabad on Saturday. The party plans to conclude the visit with a major public gathering in Karachi on Sunday.
Earlier on Sunday, the PTI posted on its X account that the public gathering would take place at Mazar-i-Quaid at 2 pm.
PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh also confirmed in a video statement that the rally would go ahead at Mazar-i-Quaid as planned.
