Mazaj News (Web Desk) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel.
In a statement on X, he said the agreement was facilitated through the “bold and sagacious diplomatic efforts” led by President Donald Trump, and expressed hope that it would pave the way for sustainable peace.
“Pakistan reaffirms its unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon and will continue to support all efforts aimed at lasting peace in the region,” he added.
