ISLAMABAD, Dec 08 : Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Monday reaffirmed the enduring Pakistan–China friendship, describing China as Pakistan’s “second home” and asserting that Pakistan holds a similarly special place for China.
Addressing an event organized by the China Chamber of Commerce, Tarar said bilateral ties were growing stronger with time. He emphasized that Pakistan highly values its long-standing partnership with China and remains committed to expanding cooperation in all areas.
The minister said China had supported Pakistan through every challenging moment, calling the relationship “unmatched.” He thanked the Chinese leadership for its consistent support and noted that increased people-to-people exchanges had helped Chinese culture flourish in Pakistan, further boosting bilateral relations.
Tarar said the two nations had repeatedly proven themselves to be true “iron brothers,” with a partnership rooted in trust and mutual respect.
Highlighting Pakistan’s climate vulnerability, he noted that the country contributes less than one percent to global carbon emissions yet ranks among the top ten most at-risk nations. He called for enhanced international assistance to help Pakistan address the escalating impacts of climate change.
