US Announces $10 Million reward on Leader of Iran-Linked Militia in Iraq

Mazaj News (Web Desk) Al Jazeera has reported that the United States is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the capture of a senior figure linked to an Iran-backed group operating in Iraq.

The individual, Hashim Finyan Rahim al-Saraji, serves as the leader and secretary-general of Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada (KSS), a militia aligned with Iran.

According to a statement issued by the U.S. Department of State through its Rewards for Justice program, the group has been involved in attacks targeting Iraqi civilians as well as US diplomatic missions and personnel in both Iraq and Syria.

The statement also noted that individuals who provide credible information may qualify not only for the financial reward but also for potential relocation assistance.
