US Senate Blocks Move to Rein in Trump’s War Powers for Fifth Time

Mazaj News (Web Desk) United States Senate has once again voted down an effort to limit the war powers of Donald Trump.

According to Al Jazeera, a fifth attempt to pass a resolution aimed at stopping military action against Iran failed, with 51 senators voting against it and 46 supporting the measure.

Before the vote, Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer criticized the situation, saying Trump had made repeated but unfulfilled claims about ending the conflict, and added that the vote gave Republican senators another opportunity to act on the issue.
