Israeli strike hits vehicle 20km south of Beirut hours after Washington talks

Mazaj News (Web Desk) An Israeli strike has hit a vehicle in Saadiyat, around 20 kilometres south of Beirut, hours after Lebanon and Israel agreed to hold direct negotiations, according to AFP.

“Enemy aircraft targeted a car in Saadiyat,” Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency said.

Israel is continuing its strikes on southern Lebanon, but has not targeted Beirut since a series of attacks across the country on April 8 — when the US-Iran ceasefire was agreed — that killed more than 350 people.
