Zardari calls for restraint following drone incident at Putin’s Residence amid peace talks

ISLAMABAD, Dec 30: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday expressed deep concern over reports of a drone incident at the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning that such actions could jeopardize ongoing efforts to achieve a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

According to a statement from the Presidency, at a critical moment when peace talks are at a sensitive stage, any move that escalates tensions is highly counterproductive.

President Zardari urged all parties to exercise the utmost restraint and to ensure their actions contribute to the success of dialogue and diplomacy. He emphasized that peace remains the only viable path forward and stressed that responsibility and restraint are essential to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
