Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday praised the officers and personnel of the security forces for carrying out a successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan.
The prime minister commended the professional skills and bravery of the security forces for killing seven Khawarij terrorists during the operation.
Paying tribute to Naik Yasir Khan, who embraced martyrdom during the operation, the prime minister said the nation salutes his supreme sacrifice made for the defense of the motherland. He prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks and for patience and strength for the bereaved family.
“The brave officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces never hesitate to lay down their lives for the sake of the country and the nation,” the prime minister said.
He added that the Pakistani nation will never forget the great sacrifices rendered by its courageous officers and soldiers in the defense of the homeland.
The prime minister reaffirmed the government’s resolve, stating that the war against terrorism will continue until this menace is completely eradicated from the country.
