Outgoing FO spokesperson Shafqat Khan pays farewell call on DPM Dar

ISLAMABAD: Outgoing Foreign Office spokesperson and now Ambassador-designate to the United Arab Emirates Shafqat Ali Khan on Wednesday paid a farewell call on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here.

The deputy prime minister commended Ambassador Khan’s contributions as spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, particularly in effectively articulating Pakistan’s foreign policy narrative.

Highlighting the deep, fraternal Pakistan-UAE ties, he urged the ambassador-designate to leverage his experience to further strengthen this vital relationship.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar also instructed him to prioritize the welfare of the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE.
