Money Laundering Suspected in Dr. Warda Murder Case

ABBOTTABAD Dec 11: District Police Officer (DPO) Abbottabad Haroon Rasheed has written a formal letter to the FIA, expressing concerns that the suspects in the Dr. Warda murder case may also be involved in money laundering activities.

According to the letter, the suspects allegedly paid Rs 3 million for the kidnapping and murder of Dr. Warda — a transaction that raises suspicion of possible illegal financial dealings and money laundering.

The DPO requested the FIA to provide the financial records of the nominated suspects — Abdul Waheed, Nadeem, and Rida Jadoon — including details of any unusual or suspicious transactions.

He further asked the FIA to share information about any ongoing money laundering inquiries against the suspects, along with their travel history, any restrictions, and their watchlist status.

The letter states that the Dr. Warda murder case is highly sensitive, and timely access to financial intelligence is essential for the next phase of the legal proceedings.
