ISLAMABAD, Dec 12: The Islamabad district administration has retrieved state land worth Rs 200 billion during an anti-encroachment operation carried out in Muslim Colony.
According to the district administration, several illegally constructed houses were demolished during the operation, and 700 kanals of encroached government land was recovered.
Officials said that multiple notices had been issued to local residents prior to the operation, informing them of the illegal occupation and upcoming action.
The operation was supervised by the Assistant Commissioner and the Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI).
The administration has appealed to the local community to cooperate with the operational teams to ensure smooth execution of anti-encroachment measures.
