RAWALPINDI: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Friday said that the Pakistan Armed Forces are fully prepared to counter divisive elements threatening national stability.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal visited the Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he was briefed on the formations’ operational readiness and measures taken to further strengthen combat capabilities.
During the visit, the Field Marshal observed field training exercises and modern simulator-based training facilities, and commended the formations for their high professional standards and overall preparedness.
ISPR said Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the importance of technological integration, noting that agility, precision, effective situational awareness, and timely decision-making are essential in the modern battlefield environment.
The Chief of Defence Forces also interacted with officers and soldiers, appreciating their high morale and unwavering commitment to national security.
He highlighted the significance of rigorous, mission-oriented training, stating that the Pakistan Army remains fully prepared to counter both internal and external challenges, including extremist ideologies, and to decisively deal with any elements seeking to undermine national cohesion and stability.
