Mazaj News (Web Desk) According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described his visit to Islamabad as “highly productive,” saying it included “positive and constructive consultations.”
He stated that during meetings in Islamabad, officials reviewed previous developments and discussed the specific circumstances under which negotiations between Iran and the United States could move forward.
Speaking about his visit to Oman, Araghchi said both sides held detailed talks regarding the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that Iran and Oman, as coastal states of the strategic waterway, must maintain close coordination—especially at a time when safe passage through the Strait has become a major global concern.
He added that both countries’ interests are closely tied to the Strait, making ongoing dialogue and coordination essential to safeguard mutual interests.
Araghchi also noted that there is a strong level of agreement between Iran and Oman, and both sides decided to continue consultations at the expert level.
