Any violation of Pakistan’s territorial integrity will be met with a strong, decisive response: Field Marshal 

ISLAMABAD Dec 31: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has warned that Pakistan will respond firmly and decisively to any direct or indirect violation of its territorial integrity, stating that Indian-sponsored proxies are actively spreading violence and propaganda in Balochistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir met participants of the 18th National Workshop on Balochistan. Addressing the participants, he said that Indian-backed proxy elements are attempting to disrupt peace and development in the province through violence and misinformation.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to protecting the lives and property of its citizens, and that the malicious designs of Indian-sponsored proxies will be thwarted through strong security operations. He added that security forces will continue efforts to rid Balochistan of terrorism and instability.

The Field Marshal highlighted Balochistan’s strategic importance and its critical role in Pakistan’s development. He praised the resilience and patriotism of the people of Balochistan, describing them as commendable.

He further noted that both federal and provincial governments are implementing people-centric development projects, while civil society has an important role in exposing propaganda. He stressed the need to reject personal political agendas to ensure Balochistan’s long-term prosperity.

Reiterating his stance, Field Marshal Asim Munir said that Indian-backed elements are fueling unrest and that any violation of Pakistan’s territorial integrity will be met with a strong and decisive response. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, during which the Field Marshal addressed participants’ queries.
