SUKKUR Dec27: A high-level government delegation has arrived in Sukkur to attend the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
On the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) delegation will participate in the anniversary ceremony of Benazir Bhutto.
The delegation is being led by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and includes Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah, Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and members of the National Assembly. The delegation is also scheduled to meet the central leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that today the nation is commemorating the death anniversary of Pakistan’s great daughter and former Prime Minister Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He said Benazir Bhutto played a significant role in strengthening the position of women in Pakistan.
Ayaz Sadiq further stated that Benazir Bhutto advanced the journey of tolerance, patience, rule of law, and public welfare in the country.
