Islamabad Dec 16: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the complete eradication of terrorism from Pakistan is the true justice for the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar tragedy.
In his message on the 11th anniversary of the APS attack, the prime minister paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the future of the country. He said the tragic incident was a severe test for the entire nation that filled hearts with grief but failed to weaken national resolve.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the sacrifices of the innocent children, teachers, and staff of APS will always remain part of the nation’s collective memory. He emphasized that eliminating terrorism from Pakistani soil is the only way to deliver real justice to the APS martyrs.
He said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the martyrs and salutes their patience and courage.
The prime minister noted that at a time when Pakistan is once again facing the menace of terrorism and security personnel and civilians are being targeted in different parts of the country, the APS tragedy serves as a reminder that the fight against terrorism is not yet over.
He reaffirmed that under a zero-tolerance policy, decisive action against terrorists will continue with full force, and the government will not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated.
He also prayed for the martyrs to be granted the highest place in Jannah and for patience and strength for their families.
